Molly Clark (she/her)
Molly Clark's music is a reflection of her rich emotional landscape, often starting with a strong feeling that she seeks to translate into song. Growing up in a musical family, she began learning piano at six and was encouraged to improvise, fostering her creativity from a young age. At 14, she began writing her own songs, which became a vital outlet for her personal experiences. With a degree in Music from the University of Sheffield, Molly further honed her skills in music production and recording, allowing her to pursue a fulfilling career as a freelance producer, live sound engineer, and composer.
Molly enjoys the challenge of writing production music, as it enables her to step outside her personal narrative and explore different perspectives. She values the collaborative environment fostered at writing camps, such as the one at Tileyard North Studios, where she connected with other creative individuals. Her commitment to diversity in the music industry aligns with MediaTracks' mission to encourage more women and marginalized genders in production music, making her journey even more meaningful. When she’s not creating music, Molly enjoys swimming and exploring the Peak District, attending gigs with friends, and learning British Sign Language.
