World Athletics Championships Tokyo 2025

We were proud to hear one of our tracks featured on BBC Two’s coverage of the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 2025 during Day 1 of the Women’s 100m heats.

The VT focused on GB sprinter Amy Hunt, one of the UK’s most exciting young talents, whose career has been defined by both her blazing speed and her resilience in overcoming setbacks. At just 23, Hunt has fought through injury and adversity to re-establish herself as a contender on the world stage, a true inspiration for athletes and fans alike.

The story was soundtracked by “The Final Hurdle” by Evie Kitching, a track whose driving energy perfectly captured Hunt’s determination and comeback spirit.

At MediaTracks, we are passionate about supporting stories that celebrate women in sport: their ambition, perseverance, and breakthroughs on the global stage. This placement felt especially meaningful, as it also highlighted the work of Evie Kitching, one of the many talented women in our composer community.

Moments like this are why we do what we do: connecting powerful stories with music that elevates them. Here’s to more placements that champion progress, representation, and inspiration, both on the track and in the studio.
