UK & Ireland Licensing
MediaTracks music is pre-cleared for use across all media worldwide, in perpetuity. In the UK, our catalogue can be licensed through MCPS Production Music under broadcaster blanket agreements, an IPC licence or the MCPS rate card.
Getting a licence is straightforward, but the appropriate licence must be in place before your production is broadcast, published or distributed. MCPS Production Music issues licences and invoices on behalf of MediaTracks.
All uses of our music should also be correctly reported to PRS for Music so that our composers and artists receive the royalties due to them. For long-form television and programming, this will normally be through a cue sheet. Other uses may be reported through the relevant PRS licensing process.
To license your chosen track, simply click on the MCPS Licence Manager Link displayed alongside all versions of tracks on our site.
This will take you to the MCPS Licensing system and auto-populate your track in the license form.
From there, you can specify the type of usage and duration you need for the track(s) and receive a quote. Just submit your payment to MCPS, and the music is yours. Please contact us at info@mediatracks.co.uk with any queries.
