MediaTracks create a supportive and creative environment for all their artists.

At the age of eight, Eric picked up the guitar, following in his father’s footsteps by learning the traditional music of his father’s Mauritian culture called Sega. As his love for music grew, Eric studied classical guitar alongside blues, funk, rock, jazz, reggae and calypso.

As Eric immersed himself in different genres, he knew he would carve out a successful career in music. After mastering the guitar, Eric would teach himself to play an array of instruments, as well as to compose, sing and produce music.

Since the age of nineteen, Eric has been an internationally touring musician. Artists he has performed with, on tour and in the studio, include Cat Stevens, Lionel Richie, Neneh Cherry, Plan B, Craig David and Jason Derulo, among many others. Eric brings his thirty years of live performance experience into the studio to create energising and cathartic tracks. The process of writing and producing is therapeutic for Eric, seeing the track grow from a seed to a fully formed soundscape brings him great satisfaction and a chance to bring healing and connection to the world through his music.

When not making music, Eric loves to keep active by swimming and yoga, as well as relaxing through meditation and spending time in nature.

Eric has received an Ivor Novello award for his work on Plan B’s She Said, as well as an MPG Award.
