After studying violin and composition at the Royal College of Music, Pete embarked on a diverse music career that embraced various genres and opportunities. His journey took him through bands, radio commercials, and music theatre, where he served as the musical director for The Rocky Horror Show from 1996 to 1999. Alongside his music endeavours, Pete also dedicated himself to teaching, sharing his knowledge and passion with aspiring musicians.
Writing production music holds a special place in Pete's heart, as he thrives on the challenge of crafting compositions that meet specific briefs. His deep understanding of strings allows him to create captivating arrangements that add depth and emotion to any production.
Pete's path intersected with MediaTracks through the influence of fellow composer Ian Livingstone. Drawn to the company's dynamic and proactive approach, Pete found a perfect home for his creative endeavours. Based in Manchester, UK, Pete creates his magic using Neumann and AEA microphones, channelled through a Universal Audio Apollo X4 interface, and recorded on his trusted Mac running Logic.
