Max began his professional career in 2006 as a studio and live engineer across venues and studios in London before shifting his focus to his own music. During this period, he signed a record deal with Ministry of Sound and a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, remixing artists such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Sander Van Doorn, and Stooshe, and supporting DJ Fresh on his first UK live tour. His work received support from influential DJs including Annie Mac, Mistajam, Tiësto, Diplo, and Dillon Francis.

As his career evolved, Max developed a strong interest in writing for media, TV, and film. Since then, he has composed across a wide range of genres for leading production music libraries, with music featured in hundreds of broadcasts worldwide. He has also written bespoke music for advertising and has been recognised with two PMA Award nominations and a Mark Award win.

What Max enjoys most about production music is solving the musical puzzle balancing the demands of a brief while creating something distinctive and memorable.
