Erin Laurie is a composer whose work blurs the line between orchestral and electronic music, combining traditional scoring with modern sound design to heighten power and emotion. Her approach builds on the popular orchestral sound, pushing it into a more contemporary, hybrid space.

Erin Laurie (she/her)
Music has been central to Erin’s life from an early age, beginning with violin lessons at six years old. Her passion for composition developed through GCSE and A-Level studies before continuing at Leeds Conservatoire on the Film Music course, where she refined her compositional voice, integrated violin performance, and collaborated closely with fellow composers and musicians.
She is drawn to production music for its ability to balance individuality with clear creative briefs, allowing a composer’s unique fingerprint to shine through while serving the project’s needs.
Recent Work:
Her ongoing collaboration with director Sam Ebdon includes the award-winning short film Parallels, with further projects currently in development.
Dream Commission:
A fast-paced, rhythmically driven orchestral score layered with synths to create a larger-than-life sound.
