I feel MediaTracks is a company that cares about its composers

Valere is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with a love for jazz, funk, soul and disco. He truly cares a lot about his music sounding authentic and will use real instruments wherever he can.

His journey as a professional musician started on the Bristol music scene, where he quickly became a sought-after double bass and electric bass player. Since then, he has played at major UK music festivals/venues and shared a stage with jazz greats such as Andy Sheppard, Pee Wee Ellis, Derek Nash, Dave Newton, Craig Milverton and Lillian Boute, among many others.

After several years as a performer, Valere realised he could have more to offer besides being a bass player. That is when he started writing music. His involvement with production music came after a friend introduced him to the concept, and he felt immediately drawn to it. What Valere appreciates the most about production music is the creative process, as the constraints given by the brief help him be more creative, directed and avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many options.

To this date, Valere has recorded 3 Jazz/Funk library music albums and is looking forward to releasing more music with MediaTracks. In addition to composing and performing, Valere enjoys running (he has 3 marathons under his belt!), cooking and baking, and spending time with his family.
