Peter Norris is a film composer who focuses on writing music with strong emotion, interesting harmony, and detailed production. He often uses found sounds to give his work a unique edge. His aim is to tell stories purely through music, creating something original and impactful without relying on lyrics.

Peter Norris (he/him)
His interest in film music began at the age of fourteen, when he first knew composing for screen was the path he wanted to pursue. Since then, Peter has actively built his experience volunteering on student films, investing in his own equipment, and developing his craft hands-on. He is currently studying Film Music at Leeds Conservatoire and plans to launch his independent composing business in the near future.
Peter enjoys production music for its focus on emotion and narrative, allowing him to shape atmosphere and meaning purely through sound. Writing to brief while maintaining a strong creative voice is a key part of his process.
He was introduced to MediaTracks through Leeds Conservatoire and saw it as an opportunity to bring his music to a wider audience while continuing to grow as a composer.
Recent Work:
His music has featured in short films including The Traveler and Super Human (directed by Matt Eyre), and Junk Mail by Phillip McKeever.
