Showing Up with Joy: Why Pride in Sync is Centring Trans+ Creatives This July
Pride in Sync: Trans+ Edition is not your average industry event. Hosted by MediaTracks, in collaboration with the British Film Editors Society (BFE) and the UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS), it’s an evening dedicated to joy, connection, and visibility for Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender-Expansive people working across music and screen.
Taking place on 8th July 2025 at All is Joy Studios in Soho, the night blends panel discussion, live music, and informal networking, all with one goal: to create space where Trans+ creatives don’t just survive, but thrive.
Beyond Survival: A Conversation Rooted in Joy
At the heart of the evening is our panel, “Beyond Survival: Trans+ Joy in Sync”, where industry professionals will reflect on their lived experiences and how we can build a more inclusive, supportive sync landscape.
This isn’t about confrontation, it’s about community. We want to celebrate the richness and resilience of Trans+ talent in our field, and highlight what true allyship can look like when it’s grounded in listening, action, and joy.
Live Music from MOBO UnSung Alumni
As a label championing underrepresented voices, we know that music speaks powerfully where words sometimes fall short. That’s why we’re thrilled to feature live performances by MOBO UnSung alumni, spotlighting Trans+ artists whose work is paving new ground in MOBO and beyond.
Expect performances that are bold, moving, and unforgettable,reminding us that inclusion is about more than who’s in the room; it’s about whose voices get amplified.

Pride in Sync is open to everyone, but we especially want to welcome allies. In a moment where Trans+ communities are facing increasing hostility and erasure, showing up matters more than ever.
This is a chance to learn, listen, and take meaningful steps toward equity in our industry. It’s also a chance to enjoy great music, connect with brilliant creatives, and be part of something that feels hopeful and energising.
