Chris first got into music at a young age whilst performing in a gospel choir. He then taught himself guitar and began playing in bands as a teenager, learning to record and produce his own songs along the way. Chris then went on to study Music Production at college where he knew he could make a career in music, so he made the decision to subsequently go on to study Music Business at University.
Ryan grew up with his father being a musician, so he was inspired to play in bands as a teenager and study music performance at college, where he developed a love for Jazz and Soukous music. Ryan then went on to study Jazz guitar at Birmingham Conservatoire before moving to Coventry University to study Music Composition. During this time, Ryan continued to perform in bands, playing all over the uk. This led Ryan to naturally transition into producing Electronic Pop music. During his career he has performed on BBC introducing festival stages and supporting Sugar Hill Gang at Ipswich Football Stadium.
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, both Chris and Ryan began working together on sync music when a mutual friend introduced them to a major production music library. The duo quickly started getting some success with landing placements. Realising they made a good team, created a great product and took great pleasure in the work, they’ve not looked back since. Chris and Ryan thrive on the variety of the briefs, this allows them to work across different genres and use a mix of their instrumental, production and engineering skills.
